4 月 4 日至 4 月 6 日期間，優惠全國 12 歲以下孩童和 1 名陪同家長免費參觀臺北市立動物園、臺北市立天文科學教育館展示場、「花博公園」臺北典藏植物園（新一代未來館）及「花博公園」行動夢想館；臺北市立兒童育樂中心即日起開放全國民眾免費入園。
另貓空纜車、國立臺灣科學教育館及臺北自來水事業處(自來水園區)於 4 月 4 日兒童節當日邀請全國 12 歲以下兒童免費入館(場)或搭乘，共襄盛舉。
